ason Franzen has created what may be the first and only video game in history with the potential to get typographers all hot and bothered. KERN randomly generates a typeface and a word with one letter missing at the top of your iPhone screen. Your job is to line up the missing letter at the bottom of the screen so the word falls perfectly into place. Not the most complicated concept in history, but it does get more difficult as time goes on.
I know, it's a bit like Tetris, but the random font aspect gives it that little special something that'll keep design geeks coming back for more.
